Gone are the days of clean cut and shinny face. A n
increasing number of guys have opted for the bearded look. This look is husky
and tough. It can make any baby- faced guy look like a hunk. Believe it or not,
women find this trend appealing. Luckily, it has now transcended into a widely
accepted fashion statement. It takes patience to grow your beard but savviness
to groom it into a style statement.
Beard Grooming
Not every guy is blessed enough with facial hair. If you
re one of the lucky few like Lynxx Chris or Edris Alba, here are a few
tips to groom those fussy strands
- Before shaving, wash your face to remove dirt from beard and avoid bumps.
- It’s important to have your own shaving kit, especially for sensitive skin
- Know your skin type so as to determine the kind of products you can use
- If you have to shape your beard yourself, consider your facial structure. For oblong or oval face shape, trim your hairs closer on the underside of your chin but leave a bit of length on your cheeks. For a round face, create length by leaving more hair on your chin and less on your cheeks.
- Finally, comb your moustache and trim hairs that fall below your lip line using scissors or a trimmer
