“Desperate Housewives” Africa Audition Showdown Begins!

The popular series is finally making a spin-off and bringing the “Desperate Housewives” to Africa, and if you think you have what it takes or that this could be your big break then it is time to tune your talent up and get going in preparation for the oncoming auditions.
                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                 

The casting session is the only means through which actors will be selected for “Desperate Housewives Africa.” The auditions begin in January 2014 to hold for 3 different days (9, 10 and 11) from 9am to 4pm daily at Protea Hotel, Oakwood Park, Lekki Expressway, Lekki Peninsula, Lagos.

Here are the steps to follow to attend the “Desperate Housewives Africa” auditions.

STEP 1 :  Download the Character Bible. Go through it to determine which role you are best suited for based on gender, age and range of acting.  CHARACTER BIBLE

STEP 2 :  Download and print out the script for the character you have chosen. Study and rehearse the script in preparation for the day of auditions.  CHARACTER SCRIPTS
Candidates will only be allowed to audition once. Please arrive prepared, having memorized your script and ready to audition. Multiple auditions will not be allowed

STEP 3  : Download and print out
i.            The Talent Information Form TALENT INFORMATION FORM
ii.           The Talent Release Form TALENT RELEASE FORM

STEP 5   : Fill out the Talent Information and Talent Release Forms and bring them to the audition.

Candidates must fill out all forms in order to attend the casting session. Any candidate who arrives without complete forms will not be auditioned.

STEP 6 :  Come to the auditions with your script.

STEP 7:   Also come with a recent 5-by-7-inch photograph of you. Your photograph should show you from the waist up facing the camera. It should not be retouched or altered in any way.

Minor/Children Auditions Please Note:
Children below the age of 18 are eligible to audition. They must arrive accompanied by their parent or guardian.

Parents or guardians of children who wish to audition must fill out the Talent Information Form and Talent Release Form on behalf of their child/ward.
