The 30-year-old designer has delivered on a limited-addition ‘Beats for Dr Dre’ capsule which features headphones, a set of speakers and a pair of earphones. The matte black and gold finishes add a luxe feel to the fashionable electronic collection.
This is not the first time Alexander Wang has lent his creativity to the hip hop elite. The San Francisco born designer gave a custom-made leather dress to Kanye West and Kim Kardashian for their daughter, North West. He also designed a leather backpack for Jay Z’s holiday collection with Barneys. Somehow, we figure this won’t be his last.
So what’s next for the creative director of Balenciaga? Perhaps a ready-to-wear hip hop inspired collection?
