We love the clothes, buy the clothes, talk about the clothes but do we ever dig deeper -- and no, we don’t mean in our wallets -- to find out more about our beloved brands? All weekend long, Fashion TV does just that.
Believe it or not, fashion designers don’t just envision something great out of nowhere. There is inspiration and passion and a lot of thought put into what you are wearing.
Look down and take a peek at your outfit; it’s more than just fabric stitched together. It might be inspired by an oasis in a desert far away such as Diane von Furstenberg’s latest collection, which goes by the same moniker, “Oasis.” Or, Jeremy Scott’s Fall/Winter 2013-14 collection inspired by, as he says, “a teenage boy’s messy, puke-y fantasy.” Yep, you read that right. Tune in to see how that is interpreted on his clothing!
Below you’ll find a sampling of what’s to come all weekend long. Don’t forget to tune in. It will change the way you think about what you’re wearing!

Marc Jacobs Fall/Winter 2013-14 Collection Is Comfortable And Chic
Marc Jacobs set out to create a feeling of comfort, of the the familiar, and so he did with this collection. The clothes were stripped down and free: cable-knit sweaters, tailored blazers and vests, silk pajamas, fox chubbies, scads of high-waisted briefs—all familiar from Jacobs' oeuvre. And honestly, what’s more comfortable than a pair of silk pajamas, which he uses as inspiration for some of his pieces.
